Day 3 Train to Segovia

We decided to take the train to Segovia today. The tour was going to cost 79 Euros each but we decided we could just take the train there ourselves. What a savings.  Train ticket - 12,90 Euros each way. Bus from train station to historic Segovia Aqueduct - 1,03 Euros each way.
Roman Aqueduct. These stones of granite were placed and are not held together with any mortar!!!  There are over 2000 years old!!!
Here's a close up. Crazy to think there's nothing glueing them together. Just strategic placement of these gigantic stones of granite.
The Cathedral of Segovia. Originally called Santa Maria. This place is massive and has 22 separate chapels. It is located opposite Alcazar Castle.
This is at the tower of Alcazar Castle.
Descending Alcazar Castle. The spiral staircase was kind of scary as shown by Courtney's face. (Just kidding).
Food!!  A priced fixed 3 course lunch.
A farewell late night chocolate and porras...  So delicious and definitely not a healthy snack choice. Good bye Madrid.
