I think we have reached the turning point of Dylan's sickness. Thank GOD! And thanks to the good advice of my friend Suong - an automatic nasal aspirator. In my opinion... BEST invention to date! The manual bulb aspirator just wasn't getting much out but this thing... snot galore! And the most gratifying part is that it collects in this clear well so you can see it!
Live and learn... while we were up in Seattle for Father's Day... Dylan started throwing up. As first time parents, Marty and I panicked and called the pediatric advice line. But just as soon as we did - we realized that it was our fault she was throwing up. They told us to have her sleep in her carseat so she could be upright... so we did. And we fed her while she was in it too and forgot to take her out to burp her. And well... with the burp came all the food. Needless to say, we were kind of embarrassed when the doctor called us back and we had to admit it was our own fault.

Wow that automatic aspirator seems like it would be very gratifying! I am sorry to hear that Dylan has been so sick. Can't believe they even thought she might need to go into the hospital! Really funny that you have been experiencing a lot of the same things. Keep letting me know which things have been similar...it's very entertaining! Get well soon to Dylan! Hugs and kisses :)
That's always scary when they're that tiny and you just see them struggling, talk about being helpless. I needed one of those nasal things a couple years ago, glad you found one and hopefully she'll be a healthy little peanut.
