Park with my friend Monroe!

Dylan can't swing on these yet but she loves hanging on them.  I remember them being fun too so I decided to give them a try.  Conclusion:  Monkey bars are not very fun as an adult.
Good friends are hard to come by.  I hope these girls will be besties forever.
 Daddy and his sidekick.
Racing is fun AND it guarantees an afternoon nap!!

Hopkins Pool

This is the only way 90 degree weather is bearable.

Fountains at The Round in Beaverton.

Dylan and I come here A LOT!  It's right next to the gym and close to home.  Lots of space to run around and WATER!  A perfect place to play according to Dylan.

Wilson Pool

We've had a streak of hot weather so...  you'll see a million water posts.  There are so many fun places around Portland to cool off.  This is Dylan at Wilson Pool which is so close to our house.

Jamison Square Park

Perfect place to be on a hot Portland day!!

Miscellaneous Summer Fun.

Gray and Lila Guild.
 Hailey Sun.
Monroe Hopkins, Gray Guild, and Kylie Sun.
Inga, Ella, and Shane...  missing from this picture is Asher.
Debbie Matto holding Cameron.  Julian Ulmer and Dylan.  Dylan could not stop talking about Julian after their first meeting.  Wish we saw him more often.
Monroe Hopkins and Dylan.  These little princesses love playing dress up!
Sydney Matto and Dylan.  I love that they have known each other since they were babies.  They are like sisters.
Kellen and Dylan at school.  Sydney, Kellen, and Dylan have quite the special bond...  they have been in the same class since the beginning.
Dylan and Cash Hopkins.  She just loves babies and has such a caring and nurturing nature.  She would have made a great big sister.
 School buddies!
Lee turns 3!!!  Some pictures from his party.

Finally... the last of the Hawaii Pictures.

WOW!  I'm so tardy in posting...  These are the last of the Hawaii pictures.

We found a little train inside a mall...  It was 50% off each ticket so we all rode.  Otherwise we were considering sending Dylan by herself.  (Just kidding.  Sort of.)
We went to the Lavender Farms.  They had much more than lavender.  The gardens were beautiful.
A captive audience.  I wish I were as mesmerizing as Curious George!
Yum...  Baked goods.  We totally ate our way through Maui.  It's unfortunate because many times what came after a meal was swimming and stuffing ourselves into a bathing suit.
Poor Marty.  This is what almost all of our excursions looked like.
Ululani's Shave Ice.  We hit this place up too many times.  So good with the Haupia ice cream and mochie pieces on the bottom and covered with sno cap.
Thank god for Courtney.  Marty and were actually able to eat a meal at the same time.
Trying to get a picture with Dylan...  not sure we ever got a good one.
Courtney swimming with turtles.  I never got to see one but I think Marty saw them every time he went out.  Snorkeling was still fun since it's the only time I actually feel like I can swim.
 The Whittemores.
Jada, Dylan, and Mia.  Vacationing with other families with kids...  it's the only way.
Packing up...  if I would have known Dylan fit into our suitcase...  I wouldn't have bought her a ticket!
Aloha.  Until next time.  Hopefully it won't be too long until we meet again.
