Then a little discouraged by the long wait for the shuttle.


Only a tiny bit of frustration.






Discouragement and frustration gave way to...  “I love it!”



It was a gorgeous day at Timberline.

Wow!  It’s happening too fast...

She knocked on the fairy door and left the tooth fairy a note and her tooth.

Only child syndrome.

Thank goodness for other only children in the neighborhood. Dylan is always asking for a play date and other only children families are usually IN!!

Fro yo with friends is always more fun than with just mom.

Picking up friends from extended care for an impromptu play date is pure happiness.

Friends will turn frowns upside down.

This is Dylan waiting impatiently for her friends and very displeased that the cheese wasn’t staying on her pizza.  Definitely a 1st world problem.


Impromptu weekday dinners bring smiles all around.
