Christmas Tree Hunt.

We drove up to the mountains for our 2nd annual tree hunt. I think we’ll make this a tradition to get Dylan’s tree but will purchase the family tree. It was hard to find a really nice full and sturdy tree. But oh what fun stomping through the forest with friends.

We returned to the country the next day since we couldn’t find out family tree. A visit with the family before going to the tree farm.

Veteran’s Weekend fun.

First sleepover with her friend Clara who lives 3 houses down the street.

Then off to Starbucks for some reading and math. Starting this expensive habit early.  Although I don’t seem to get any sass about doing her homework.  So...  I’m thinking...  WIN.
Girl Scout roller skating event at Oaks Park. Dylan has been inspired to do Roller Derby by the book Roller Girl.
We made this a girl’s night out with dinner and ice cream at the Creamery after skating.

No school day means lots of activities to keep the girls off electronics. Early morning slime!!  Followed by daily reading and multiplication flash cards at Starbucks. Then rock climbing at Circuit Gym.

Ending the long weekend with a bath and some indoor roller skating.  Phew!  It was jam packed but fun. Mom is ready to relax at work!

Happy Haunting 2018

I’m exhausted. Dylan said she needed 4 costumes for all of her events...  I had no idea she had 4 events but indeed she did!

First was the dance to “I Want Candy” at the Lake Oswego vs Lakeridge football game.  She was a Ninja.  But the big girls were zombies when they danced to “Thriller” which inspired the rest of the costumes. Forget the Mal costume that she begged for. Purple wig still new and attached to the insert while outer box destroyed by Dylan during opening. So...  no return.

Then it was zombie dancer at the Lakeridge Halloween Night.

Then zombie bride for trick or treating with the Pslisades crew.

Makeup wasn’t allowed for her class party so she went with fancy movie star.
