Another day off equals more fun for Dylan.

I often ask her if she knows how lucky she is...  Then come the stories of how I never got to...  I sound like my parents!

Alternating houses, sharing the madness...  Edwards house. Then Kelley's house.

The Snow Days Were Neverending... January 2017

I would be ok with not seeing any more snow for a while. I was starting to think Dylan would never go back to 1st grade. 9 school day closures in conjunction with a 2 week Christmas break!

Question of the day...  who can make it out of the house for a play date?

Dylan and her friend Matilda. One of the few girls that there's no drama or tears after.

Another snow day... January 2017

When school is closed for a snow day but work goes on... thankfully Multnomah County closed.  Moms have to help each other out.

Heavy Snow January 10, 2017

We hadn't yet chopped up our Christmas trees so I dragged Dylan's tree to the driveway to see how much snow would accumulate. So pretty. Considering a flocked tree next year.
Fun to have friends in the neighborhood but exhausting at the same time. 2 girls are easy. 3 or 4 usually ends in tears somewhere along the way.

Igloo!!

Lake Oswego beauty.

Door Design by Dylan

Implemented by Dad.  All those tools in the garage actually do more than take up space!

Christmas 2016 with The Chiangs

Me:  What do you want for Christmas this year?
Dylan:  I just want Coco.

Coco took Dylan to see Sing.  Marty and I tagged along. But a few nights later, Coco took her to see Moana while Marty, John, and Jonathan went to see Rogue One and my sister and I went to Manchester By The Sea.

Wild feminists.

My sister demonstrating how to use The Squatty Potty.
Jonathan realizing that he chose a present from his own house.
Super hero kids!

A couple competitive games of Marty's homemade Jenga!

Happy birthday Marty!

December 16, 2016.  Thanks to the Whittemore's for hosting a party.

1st pedicure!

I'm on the bus home and can finally catch up on December happenings. Dylan had her first mani and pedi on December 4, 2016.  Very fun girl day.

7 Dees outing with Momo

Breakfast at our old stomping grounds...  the old Brite Spot.

Reunited with her good friend. It's so hard to coordinate play dates with work and busy lives.
