Tree decorating 2016

The tree was naked for about a week but...  we finally decorated them.

Obviously tardy...  we went tree hunting the weekend after thanksgiving. 

This was a fun place to get a Christmas tree. Free pony rides.  Free apple cider. Beautiful land to explore and get muddy.  Friends. 

     

This is the tree Dylan picked for her room. 

 

 

No school! SNOW DAYS!

The big snow...  for us at least. Thankful for the friends in the neighborhood. 

 

Nighttime frolick in the snow.  

Followed by daytime sledding!!  What a fun Palisades crew!    

And when we need to come inside and warm up, we do a foot spa.  

And have friends in the neighborhood over. 

And play dates...  because 4 days off school before the 2 week Christmas break makes for a LONG day if not occupied.

A hearty game of Old Maid.  I've never seen my Agong and Ama laugh this hard!  So very thankful that Dylan gets to know them. 

If you ask Dylan, she is babysitting Auntie tonight. Uterus and Fetus cookies. Dylan now knows the difference between fetus and baby. After my sisters definition, she corrected her and said they were baby cookies since it's not in the mommy' belly. After it's eaten, it can be called a fetus.

Ama's 80th birthday!

We took Ama to Top Gun Seafood Restaurant for dim sum and ordered extras of her favorite, chicken feet and tripe, so she could have leftovers at home.  Sape and family were present via FaceTime...  notice Keira's face on the phone. 

 

 Fetus cookies with all of her kids names. And a uterus cookie with 1 ovary. 

  

Happy 7th Birthday, Taylor.

These girls first met in before care last year. Now they are in the same 1st grade class and Daisies together.

Tea party birthday in Oregon City for Taylor's 7th birthday. Fancy.    

Halloween!

Life gets so busy. Don't blink an eye because before you know it...  it's a new month.

Halloween Night at Lakeridge High School. Fun with friends. First time she just ran around by herself with friends.
