Always a couple months behind...  <sigh>  We went to Lincoln City looking for glass balls.

No luck finding a glass ball.

Learned a few things.  Most important... Sneaker waves are scary. Never under estimate Mother Nature. Bring extra clothes for the whole family, not just Dylan.

May 11, 2016.

Today was a BUSY day!!!  Since it was Dylan's birthday, I spent the entire morning at her school.  Making copies for all 3 kindergarten classes and organizing. Then out to recess.  Then hot school lunch with her.  Then it was off to Costco to get her class birthday treat...  Rice crispy treats due to milk, egg, and gluten restrictions of a few kids.

After all that running around, I got to go home for an hour of laundry folding. Then getting swim stuff gathered for an after school play date with her old friend, Sydney. I picked Dylan up, braved 217 traffic to get Sydney, then back into 217 traffic to get to the aquatic center for 45 minutes of open swim.

I think they played longer at the park after swimming.

Dylan chose MOD Pizza over Red Robin for her birthday dinner. Probably because at MOD she's not confined to the table and can run around.
