1st world children...

I hope to instill in Dylan just how lucky we are in the country.  She fell asleep while watching PBS Kids on the iPhone  PBS Kids app...  her new obsession.

And more playdates...

Dylan loves her friends!!!  Here she is with her friends from "school" - Asher and Sydney.  These kids bonded when they were babies.  It's amazing to see how they've grown and so fun to watch them play.
Dylan and her friend Hailey.  It's funny how many people you meet because of your child.  We met Hailey and her parents 1 year ago.  We had just gotten done at the gym and Hailey's family was just finishing up lunch.  The girls were playing in the fountains at The Round.  They were playing so well together that we just had to exchange numbers.
Ella, Sydney, and Dylan...  Ella is Asher's sister and even though she's older, Dylan loves playing with her just as much!
Lee and Dylan.  We met Lee and his mom Frances at Hopworks when they were about 1 1/2 years old.  They were born about a week apart.  And kissed at Hopworks so...  we felt exchanging numbers would be appropriate.
Dylan, Asher, and Ella - rough housing!

We live for playdates...

Dylan and her cousins, Olive and Araya.
Mia and Dylan - let's see if we can both fit into the chair.
 Bath time with Mia!!
Dylan at the park with Sydney.  I'm so glad these girls are friends and hope they are going to grow up together!

Wellesley Girl.

I hope Dylan grows up to be just as smart and athletic as Courtney.  This t shirt is courtesy of Coco who is finishing up her first year at Wellesley.  I'm so proud of her!

Girl's Weekend!!

Clearly I've been tardy in posting...  This was a weekend in March that we drove up to see Melanie in Richland, Washington.  It was my first overnight away from Dylan and I survived.  It was just what I needed!  R and R, good friends, good food, and lots of girl talk!

Vacuuming...

I can't wait to start delegating some chores to Dylan!

Easter fun!

This Easter was full of egg hunts and fun!!  It started with an Easter egg hunt at Alpenrose Dairy.  It's awesome living so close since there's so many kid friendly activities here.
Monroe and Dylan holding hands after the chaotic easter egg hunt at Alpenrose Dairy.  We also ran into Dylan's friends Hailey and Samantha.
The kids probably had more fun just running around after the hunt.  In fact...  Dylan said the best part of the day was lunch (Laughing Planet) with her friends.  Which is weird because she didn't sit next to any of her friends or even really interact with them.
Here she is - wiped out!  We went to the Hopkins' house for Easter brunch, easter goodies, and another easter egg hunt on Easter day.  Sadly we didn't get any pictures.
Next stop...  Site and Grandpa Herm's for more food, more goodies, and yet another easter egg hunt!
And then finally... home for her last easter egg hunt.  What a fun weekend!
