Family!
I wish we lived closer so Dylan could spend more time with Ah Ma and Ah Gong.
Caden and Dylan... cousins!
Piano... a mandatory Asian thing. Here she is with Ah Ma, playing a duet.

Weekend at Wallowa Lake
Campfire and s'mores! Dylan was too young to appreciate this but one day she's going to realize how awesome these 2 things are.
Lunch at Russell's where they have Dole Whip. YUM!
Minah wearing Marty's hat... I think she needs to get one of these. Looks good on her.
Emma and Dylan with their pinwheels. Emma is such a poser!
Sprinklers are awesome on a HOT day! Dylan was soaking wet we had to strip her naked during lunch.
If this were me, I'd be in the water - due to balance issues.
Whittemores - Thanks for the invite to your cabin.
Edwards family.
The boys relaxing with a cool beverage.
Dylan driving for the first time. Scary to think that one day she'll be asking for the keys to the car! She already thinks my car is her car. She says, "Mommy car. Dylan car. Same."
Stroller sharing... sort of like carpooling.
Waiting to beat the rush for doughnuts!
Top of the tram feeding chipmunks.
Dylan having to "read " all the signs!
Pool time with Mia.
Dylan reading to Mia. She looks like me when I was little in this picture.
Fishing. This was NOT fun. Stinky and dirty down here.

What Dylan is doing these days?
This little girl is so much fun and the things that come out of her mouth are so cute and inquisitive.
1. The other day she was playing in her room, runs over and hugs my leg, and says "I love you Mommy" and then runs back to play. My heart melted right then and there.
2. I asked her if she wanted applesauce and she said, "No. Just kidding. Yes, I do."
3. Whenever there's a sound she doesn't know... she says "What's that sound?" while shrugging and crinkling up her nose.
4. "I have nuggets" which means she has pooped.
5. When we ask her if she is tired, she says, "No. I'm happy."
She is finally sleeping through the night and we are so glad to get some sleep. Its funny when she wakes up on occasion, Marty goes in and says, "______ ______ _______, I'll be right back." It doesn't matter what it is, she says ok and goes back to sleep. It started with "I have to get the mail. I'll be right back." at 2 am. Now we just make things up. The last one I heard was, "I have to finish the taxes. I'll be right back."
She's already getting an opinion on what she wants to wear. She mainly does this with shoes... she's very particular about which shoes she wants to wear so to discourage mismatching (after her going to school in a yellow dress and pink high top converse sneakers), I now give her a choice between 2 pairs of my choosing. And that seems to do it. She picks and she's happy.
Our little monkey...
She is always climbing on things and...
hanging from things. We always have to tell her not to do this but... had to snap a picture first.
Annual BBQ at Greg and Lisa's
We are so glad we are invited to this awesome BBQ at Greg and Lisa's (Amanda's sister). They live way out and have an awesome yard - totally kid friendly and so much fun! The trampoline is always a hit - with Dylan AND Marty - although he didn't get on this year. Too many kids vying for it.
It's fun to watch the kids play.

Dylan LOVES presents!
We let Brooklyn out the front door tonight for potty time and found a package from my friend Melanie and family... Dylan had fun opening it and LOVES what she now calls her "pretty little pillow" from Dylan's Candy Bar. And she knows that it says her name on it... She knows D and generally knows long her name is from all the labels at school. Here she is loving her new pretty little pillow.
Thank you Lee Family for this most thoughtful surprise!!
