We love visitors!!!

Marty's mom and grandma came for a visit last weekend. What a nice surprise since they have only been over once before. Dylan loves visitors so... come on down! Hopefully soon we'll be on the Eastside and closer to the action.
She's a happy girl!!
Tired... after a long day of socializing. Life is rough.

Ahhhhh... slumber!

Dylan sleeps in the strangest positions now. I think it's because she is trying to turn over and this is where she leaves off before she gives up. It does not look comfortable at all! And she moves like crazy. Sometimes she's 180 degrees from where I placed her in her crib. And other times she wakes up crying (frantically and very loudly) because her leg has gone through the crib and she can't get it back out. I am going to try and remember to get a picture of it before I rescue her next time.

2 month stats...

Dylan is a big girl! We went to the doctor yesterday for her 2 month appointment. Talk about heartbreak! She got 2 shots in each leg - at the same time! I'm not looking forward to the 4 month visit when she gets more shots. I think it's harder on me than it was on her!! She is now:

Weight: 11.5 lbs 70%
Height: 22.9 inches 90%
Head Circumference: 15.5 inches 70%

She SMILES and our hearts melt!

Our 2 girls...

WOW! Our Dylan has been so fussy these days. I hope she outgrows it and soon. I'm not enjoying this stage - only because I feel so bad for her - not knowing how to console her and make it better.
And the next minute...
Brooklyn... what a trooper she has been. I know she feels left out on occasion but we still love her so much and can't wait until she and Dylan become best friends.

4th of July at the beach.

For the long 4th of July weekend, we went to the coast with the DeAinzas and the Whittemores. It was Dylan's first time to the beach and she did great - a few meltdowns but we all survived and had a great time. Here's a pictures of all of us on the beach... Will had a crazy kite that about crashed into several people. Dave and Emma's kite was better behaved and ended up being managed by some driftwood (Dave tied it up to this driftwood and it basically flew itself for a while).
Brooklyn... had a great time. Even ended up being friends with Winnie and Wesley. I wish I would have gotten a picture of all the dogs together.
This was the coolest little beach! We were there at the perfect time - the tide was low and it was awesome to be able to walk where the water normally flows and see the starfish and mussels on the rocks. Very cool!
