6 month stats and pictures galore!
I think Dylan may end up being tall! Who would have thunk it?! Here are her stats:
Height: 26.5 inches - she's in the 80th percentile
Weight: 15.2 lbs - she's in the 40th percentile
Head circumference: 17 inches - she's in the 75th percentile
We had to do shots a week after her 6 month appointment because she was sick AGAIN! She has been sick so many times that I have lost count! Anyways, she was sick for a week and then just when she started feeling better - WHAM! she got 5 shots! But what a brave girl... she only cried for a second after the 1st two (which were done at the same time) and was totally fine after that. She obviously does not take after her mom.
Here she is at the dentist... she doesn't have any teeth yet but it's never too early for OHI (oral hygiene instruction)!!
"Hmmm - I'm not sure about this."
"OK - the glasses are kind of fun."
"Get me out of here!!"
She loves playtime! She can play on her tummy forever! But sitting up by herself... forget it.
Doggie kisses...
Friends forever!
She has been sick quite a bit so when her nose is stuffy - she gets to nap in her swing. I love her hand position!
Ah Ma and Ah Gong (grandma and grandpa). My mom is cracking up because we were trying to get Dylan to smile and Marty was making all sorts of strange noises. I love to see my parents smiling like this!
Dylan loves her Ah Ma!
Dylan and her friend Monroe. They are 2 months apart and I hope they'll grow up to be best friends just as their dads are. But what we are going to do when they get into their first fight... I have no idea!

Pictures, pictures, and more pictures!
Dylan has been having loads of fun. She went swimming for the first time at Black Butte and liked it. She might live up to the meaning of her name after all! She also discovered how much fun the exersaucer is. She has discovered her toes and that she can get them into her mouth. And we started real food! Messy face pictures to come.
Trip to Seattle.
Dylan got her first taste of asian pears and LOVED it. I guess it's time to start introducing food. Yah!
Proud Ah Ma and Ah Gong (grandma and grandpa).
Courtney and Dylan. The life of a 16 year old... she rushed home after taking SATs and played with Dylan before rushing off to Homecoming. Dylan loves her!

Dylan is 4 months old!
Wow - time sure does fly! Dylan is already 4 months old. Not sleeping through the night but only getting up only once or twice a night. Oh well... I think we are doomed on the sleep front for the next 18 years. Poor Marty.
Here are Dylan's latest stats:
Height: at 25 inches, she's in the 75th percentile
Weight: at 13.11 lbs, she's in the 50th percentile
Head: at 16.4 in, she's in the 70th percentile
This is probably the last time she'll get to wear this dress... it's our favorite! But I'm ready to give it up since we've now got some cute pictures of her in it.
She is rolling over a lot now. Almost every time we put her down, she rolls over and then gets stuck on her belly. Sometimes she's ok with it, turns her head, and takes a nap. Other times, she is not ok with it and cries for help. Especially when her leg also gets stuck in the crib. Usually her cries are so frantic that I don't have time to get a picture but this time I remembered.
Ahhh... peace.
I finally got her Bumbo (on loan from Suong) out to see if she could sit in it and she CAN!!! She's growing up. Food is probably our next big thing. We'll start that next month... I anticipate lots of laundry. Or maybe we'll just feed her naked. Well... with her diaper on.

Mostly pictures... again.
I probably take a million pictures of Dylan. Thank goodness for digital cameras because only 1 out of 10 really turn out. Here's a bunch of her sleeping. I don't what it is but I always want to bug her when she is sleeping. I like to put my cheeks on hers or just smooch them. Here she is sleeping in her most favorite position. It looks like it would cause some neck pain but this is how she lets us know she's done eating and wants to sleep. While eating, she will turn her head causing the bottle to fall out, arch her back, and proceed to snoring.
Her naps do not involve this neck distortion, however.
She's always cheery in the morning and very playful. Evenings are another story... she gets really cranky around 5:30 ish... I'm usually too busy frantically trying to comfort her to snap any pictures.
She's found her toes! I know it's weird but I can't wait until she starts putting them in her mouth. And after I get a few pictures... she can stop.
